Ryan & Lindsie celebrated their engagement photo shoot in Downtown Pittsburgh, with plenty of huge smiles and sweet cuddles!
Snuggle weather is one of the best times to schedule your engagement photo shoot! Anytime there’s a valid excuse to break out the scarfs & boots is alright in my book, but having an added reason to snuggle up close to your fiancé to celebrate your love for one another is definitely what it’s all about. Ryan & Lindsie were not afraid to get deep in the snuggle zone for their engagement photo shoot, and the historic architecture of Downtown Pittsburgh was all we needed to preserve those cherished pre-wedding day moments.
Our bride and groom-to-be first met one another in freshman Biology class; hear more about their fated encounter from Lindsie:
We actually met in my freshman Biology class! Somehow we ended up sitting next to each other, and I had no intentions of talking to him very much as I was a very introverted person. However, Ryan is the human equivalent of a golden retriever and is so friendly and happy all the time, that it was impossible not to talk to him. I got him in trouble by stealing his phone (again, I’m an introvert and obviously VERY bad at flirting) but somehow the teacher caught HIM with the phone and not ME, which led to a date. Not quite sure how that happened, but I’ve never been more thankful for my awkward flirting techniques! – Lindsie
Ryan’s proposal happened right around engagement season! The bride and groom-to-be are both huge Pittsburgh Penguins fans (you’ll get to see a fun way we captured that below!) hear how the proposal went down in Lindsie’s words:
Ryan was very excited about Friday, January 25th, as we were having a fun date night. We were going to our favorite restaurant (The Kitchen on Main in Ligonier) and then heading to a Penguins game in Pittsburgh (we are both HUGE pens fans!). Following dinner, I wanted us to get a picture in the gazebo across the street from the restaurant, which became the scene for the proposal. Next thing I knew, I was seeing stars and asking myself if this was really happening! I’m sure that’s what most girls think when they are asked the question, but sometimes I still have to look down and see the ring to remind myself that it’s true! I really am so blessed, I get to marry my best friend! – Lindsie
Ryan & Lindsie’s wedding ceremony will be held at Saint Vincent Basilica Parish with a wedding reception celebration at The Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort!
