Having two Brides at your wedding means DOUBLE of all the pretty things! Amanda and Emily’s Historic Ghent Wedding was full of smiles, laughter, and joy as they tied the knot!
When I first met with Amanda and Emily, I chose Starbucks, because it was close and convenient to both of us! It wasn’t until well into our conversation that they told me they had actually met at Starbucks for the first time after connecting through an online dating app, proving that you CAN find love online!
During their engagement session, I learned a TON about them and their personalities, their likes, and dislikes… but most of all I saw how much they truly love each other! I learned that Amanda doesn’t enjoy dabbing the shine from Emily’s face, but that she’ll do it in the most loving way! That Amanda is a calm soul and encourages them both. That they are made for one another.
On their wedding day, the sun was shining like it was the middle of July! The early morning sun streamed through the hotel windows as they got ready on separate floors. Everyone was so quiet, and Emily told me they were trying to keep things stress free and laid back! And even though things ran behind schedule, Emily assured everyone that they wouldn’t start the wedding without them, so she was going to finish her hair ?
When they arrived at the church, the guests were buzzing with excitement, and I could see the nerves start to settle in! It was the moment they had waited for, planned for, and worked for. And it was beautiful!
After some amazing family photos at the Unitarian Church where they were married, we walked the short distance to the Chrysler Museum Gardens. It is such a gorgeous place to showcase a newlywed couple!
Congratulations Amanda and Emily!
